Crisis Management Alumni Leading Anti-PR for $2.5M+ Tech Companies
Leadership Team with Deep Tech Industry Experience
JOTO PR is a disruptively innovative Anti-PR firm. Our leadership team has decades of experience in media relations, brand management, crisis communications, and social media engagement. We’re experts at moving at the speed of thought, and we have one goal: to help you control the stories being told about your business in a way that delivers measurable results.
Karla Jo Helms
Founder and Anti-PR Chief Strategist
Karla Jo discovered firsthand how unforgiving business can be when millions of dollars are on the line—and how the control of public opinion often decides whether one company is cheerfully chosen, or another is brutally rejected.
Being an alumni of crisis management, Karla Jo has worked with litigation attorneys, private investigators, and the media to help reinstate companies of goodwill back into the good graces of public opinion—operating on the ethic of getting it correct the first time, not depending on second chances and doing what it takes to excel.
Karla Jo has modeled her agency on the perfect balance of crisis management, entrepreneurial insight and proven public relations experience. An expert on what it takes to sway the tide of public opinion, Karla Jo speaks globally on public relations, how the PR industry itself has lost its way and how, in the right hands, corporations can utilize the power of PR to drive markets and impact market perception.
Martin Dockstader
Anti-PR President
Marvin Dockstader is the President of JOTO PR Disruptors™, serving as the agency’s executional force and operational architect. Where others talk strategy, Marvin builds systems, enforces discipline, and turns vision into measurable growth.
With more than two decades of leadership across sales, operations, construction, and revenue management, Marvin has built and scaled territories, led high-performing teams, and consistently driven double-digit growth in complex, high-accountability environments. His career spans industries where results matter, margins are earned, and leadership is tested daily—not theorized.
At JOTO PR, Marvin owns execution, profitability, delivery efficiency, and internal accountability. He is responsible for translating the Anti-PR® philosophy into repeatable systems that scale—without diluting standards, narrative control, or margin. His focus is ruthless clarity: eliminating operational friction, tightening performance metrics, and ensuring the agency runs like a growth machine, not a creative free-for-all.
Marvin is known for his ability to:
- Build structure where chaos previously lived
- Hold leaders accountable without slowing momentum
- Scale revenue while protecting culture and standards
- Turn pressure into performance
He partners closely with Founder Karla Jo Helms, who leads vision, narrative, and market disruption—while Marvin ensures the engine underneath it all is powerful, disciplined, and built to last.
Outside of work, Marvin spends his time with his wife and children and is actively involved in his church, where he volunteers his time helping others and giving back to his community.
Nick Westcott
Head of Establishment
Nick Westcott is the Head of Establishment (HES) at JOTO PR, responsible for building the internal systems, discipline, and structure that allow Anti-PR® to scale without losing its edge. Where others tolerate operational chaos, Nick designs clarity. Where teams stall, he installs momentum.
Nick is an operator by instinct and a builder by trade. He has doubled client volume, cut onboarding time by more than 50%, and architected training systems that actually stick. Across healthcare, nonprofit education, and complex corporate environments, he has repeatedly transformed raw potential into repeatable, profitable execution—freeing leaders to lead while keeping teams aligned, accountable, and fast.
What makes Nick indispensable to the Anti-PR model is his refusal to accept “the way it’s always been done.” He challenges bloated systems, strips out friction, and engineers operational foundations that support bold moves, aggressive growth, and narrative control at scale. He doesn’t just keep the engine running—he redesigns it to go faster.
Outside of work, Nick spends time with his family and channels his creative discipline into photography and design—an extension of the same precision, curiosity, and craft he brings to building organizations that are built to last and built to disrupt.
