As if Toyota hasn’t gotten in enough trouble in the recent past – they seem to be a glutton for punishment.  Check out this PR snafu:

Toyota has taken a rather bizarre and twisted turn to anti-social media. How did they do this you ask?  Their ad agency came up with the brilliant idea to prank their customers and instill and element of fear and dreading. Now that’s a way to make yourself popular, don’t ya think? And on the way, Toyota gets sued for 10 million bucks, not a PR success story by any means.
