Missouri Physical Therapist Sean Quinn and Staff to Participate in Eureka Days 2011, Sponsoring a Team of at Least 25 for Annual Lions Run on September 10

EUREKA, Mo., August 23, 2011 – To celebrate Eureka Days 2011 and the seventh anniversary of the Sports and Physical Therapy Center, Missouri physical therapist Sean Quinn is inviting patients to participate in the annual Lions Run for Sight. Quinn and his colleagues will be taking part in the 5K run, and the Sports and Physical Therapy Center will cover the entry fee for patients, family and friends who wish to join them. Participants who run with Quinn’s team will enjoy special benefits, including a light breakfast and chair massage after the event.

“The Lions Run is a great cause. Not only does it promote physical fitness, but proceeds help to support the Lions Eye Care Fund,” said Quinn. “We’re proud to sponsor a team for this event, because it allows us to contribute to the health and wellness of citizens throughout our community. It’s also a way for us to thank all of our patients who have made the Sports and Physical Therapy Center a leading destination for physical therapy in St. Louis County.”

Registration Details:

• The Sports and Physical Therapy Center will sponsor a team of at least 25 people.
• Team registration is open to current and former patients, as well as their family and friends.
• Participants must visit the Sports and Physical Therapy Center at 322 North Central Avenue in Eureka to complete and sign the Lions registration form.
• Registrants may choose to participate in the 5K run or 3K walk.
• The deadline for registration is August 31, 2011.

All participants will receive an event t-shirt and goodie bag from the Lions, as well as a Sports and Physical Therapy Center team t-shirt to wear on the day of the event. The Lions Run will take place on September 10, 2011. Team members will meet at the Sports and Physical Therapy Center office at 7:30 a.m., and participants will walk together to the race starting point at the corners of Central and Dreyer in Old Town Eureka.

“We want to make this a special day for our patients and their guests,” stated Quinn. “At the end of the Lions Run, everyone participating in our team is welcome to come back to the office for a complimentary light breakfast, some stretching and cool-down exercises, and a free chair massage. Afterward, we’ll gather outside to watch the Eureka Days Parade as it passes nearby. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate Eureka Days and our clinic’s seventh anniversary. We look forward to sharing a morning of fun and fitness with our patients and friends!”
