Miss Geico will shoot it out with Aqua Mania for the title of fastest boat in Florida.
Coming off two successful weekends in New York City and Moorehead City, N.C., the Super Boat International series will conclude its U.S. season off Clearwater Beach, Florida on October 2nd-4th.
A big field of boats is expected with a promised match race between two 180-plus mph turbines: Miss Geico and Aqua Mania.
This weekend, Team AMSOIL is looking for another Super Cat title.
Other class-leading boats include Team AMSOIL (Super Cat) and Miccosukee Indian Gaming (Superboat Stock).
This, right here, is Miccosukee Indian Gaming’s Outboard Contender.
Two of the Manufacturers Production class titles will be settled at Clearwater. In MP2, TKO won the Moorehead City race and is a close second to Double Trouble. In MP4, Simmons Racing won at Moorehead City and holds a tight lead over Crazy Chicken.
Simmons Racing is muscling its way to the MP4 title.
The race weekend is a festival with major sponsorship from Bright House Networks. Fans will be able to see the boats up close in the dry pits at Coachman Park and watch the boats practice on Saturday afternoon before Sunday’s big races at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Parking will be available near Coachman Park and shuttle service to Pier 60 (the start/finish line) will be provided by the Jolley Trolley and busses from Ambassador Limo.
SpeedStyle Magazine will be there to bring you all of the action!
