Community partners come together – The Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa and Ruth Eckerd Hall are holding a benefit concert to help raise funds to restore the historic Capitol Theatre.
(May 2, 2011, Tampa Bay, FL) If there ever was a successful fundraiser, it would be entertainment that appealed to adults and children alike. The Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort and Spa, is hosting a special benefit performance in their Aqualea Room on Friday May 20th at 7:30pm, featuring Clearwater’s own sensational teen recording artist Suite Caroline and students from The Marcia P. Hoffman Performing Arts Institute at Ruth Eckerd Hall. The benefit concert is to help raise funds to restore the historic Capitol Theatre.
13 year-old Suite Caroline is an amazing musical talent, having already released 3 CDs of all original music. She has opened concerts for many popular artists including Martina McBride and has even sung live with Sheryl Crow, Pat Benatar, Charlie Daniels and the GoGo’s. David Norrie of What’s Hot Tampa Bay Magazine says, “…it’s glaringly apparent that even though she’s just 13, when Suite Caroline straps a guitar over her shoulder and steps up to the mic, she definitely has ‘IT’.”
