This month JoTo points our loving fingers to General Electric aka GE. When I was growing up GE’s slogan was “We bring good things to life!” Today they say “Imagination at work!” Unfortunately, the news at GE shows a complete lack of imagination and they surely are not bringing good things to life.
First there was the news that General Electric paid no taxes in 2010 upon earning $5.1 billion in their US operations ($14.2 billion worldwide) and claiming a $3.2 billion tax credit. This just might hurt GE’s image. Then of course the nuclear reactors in Japan were made by GE. These guys are not handling stuff all that well.
