JoTo MoJo: PR picks for the fav videos and sites for August 2012

Again – we know you love these because you always tells us – so this month we are hooking you up with some of our favorite videos, articles and sites. IMPROV EVERYWHERE: SAY SOMETHING NICE (3.3 million views)For their latest mission, Improv Everywhere constructed a custom wooden lectern with a megaphone holster and an attached sign that read, “Say Something Nice.” The lectern was placed in public spaces around New York and then left alone. We wanted to see what would happen if New Yorkers were given the opportunity to amplify their voices to “say something nice.” This project was produced by Improv Everywhere as part of the Guggenheim Museum exhibition still spotting NYC.

GLORY IN A FLASH MOB (5.8 million views)On the 130th anniversary of the founding of Banco Sabadell (Sabadell, Spain) they wanted to pay homage to their city by means of the campaign “Som Sabadell” (We are Sabadell). This is the Flashmob that they arranged as a final culmination with the participation of 100 people from the Vallès Symphony Orchestra, the Lieder, Amics de l’Òpera and Coral Belles Arts choirs.

MATT’S 2012 OUTTAKES (69K views and growing)
I cannot imagine a more enjoyable job than the one that Matt has. He dances from place to place and makes everyone around him happy. Last issue we told you about Matt’s latest 2012 video and this time we are happy to let you about the outtakes from the video. Matt always shoots more than he needs and quite frankly the outtakes are just as cool as the ummm “intakes.”

And if you missed the official video enjoy: (4.2 million views)

AN OLD POLITICAL VIDEO SPOOF BY JIBJAB.COM: THIS LAND (2.6 million views)
I couldn’t resist.

Have a great rest of August!
