This week, President Obama proposed allocating $30 billion to the community banks that lend to small businesses. SBA Administrator Karen Gordon Mills will join us to further discuss the Administration’s plans to help small business owners.

Judith Moore had always considered her Charleston Cookie Company to be more of a retail company than a wholesale one, especially since she placed a heavy emphasis on gift-giving. While the majority of her business was retail, she repositioned herself last year as a matter of survival as her sales started to shift. Her wholesale business now makes up the majority of her revenue while the retail side continues to shrink. She expects the wholesale business, which includes clients such as The Sanctuary Hotel and Dean and Deluca to grow further, but Moore will never give up the retail business.
