Volunteer efforts: For two years, team members at Nationwide Title Clearing Inc. have volunteered at the Homeless Emergency Project, where the homeless and very low-income individuals and families are helped with housing, food, clothing and support services necessary to obtain self-sufficiency and improved quality of life.
Starting again in July, 17 NTC employees and their families began donating their time at HEP, helping to serve the evening meal every second Saturday of each month and volunteering in the thrift store that benefits the shelter. They have experienced such positive feedback from the HEP staff and shelter residents that NTC plans to make this companywide employee volunteer project with HEP a permanent community initiative.
“When NTC has the opportunity to give back to members of our community, we always encourage our employees to participate,” said NTC’s CEO John Hillman. “It is important to realize that we all need to come together to make Tampa Bay a better place to live for everyone.”
In addition to its association with HEP, NTC helps the community through events such as blood drives, toy drives and the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life of Palm Harbor.
In Palm Harbor, NTC is a privately owned service provider to the mortgage and financial industry. It performs land records research services and processes documents for the residential mortgage-servicing industry.
