50 things that are being killed by the internet

I only included one of the 50 Internet Surfing things listed by Matthew as I just couldn’t sit still long enough to read all 50. I think I got down to about number 12 or so before I lost interest. So if it is not already on the list then I would like to add “attention span” as another thing that was killed by the internet.

The one I included is the one I am most guilty of myself and so I have added a resolution to my list for the new year to try and be more punctual.

5) Punctuality
Before mobile phones, people actually had to keep their appointments and turn up to the pub on time. Texting friends to warn them of your tardiness five minutes before you are due to meet has become one of throwaway rudenesses of the connected age.
