4th Fridays in Clearwater
Every 4th Friday, a downtown Clearwater street closes to traffic and opens to free entertainment and fun.
Cleveland Street from Fort Harrsion to East Street is shut down, and each month sees a different headlining act and a different charity benefits from the beer and wine sales.
This month the headlining act is Suite Caroline with a 12-year-old singer Caroline Kudelco, and the benefitting charity is Miles for Hope.
Virginia Johnson from Tampa Bay On Demand hung out with Suite Caroline at Cali Yogurt, a shop on Cleveland.
Caroline says she’s been singing since she can remember!
“I’m really lucky to play the shows that I play, to play with these guys. Everything is an opportunity and I love it.”
The event goes from 5:30 pm until 10:00 pm, businesses stay open later and there is a bazaar of food and wares.
Each month the streets fill with about 2,000 people.
